What an amazing experience I had today! We went to this place where over a hundred pugs snorted and slobbered . . . in costumes!
With me in the old standby dog costume and Cosmo as a baby, we joined in the fun at DFW Pug Rescue Club's 5th annual Pug-a-ween!
Poor Cosmo with that silly diaper.
The other pugs were a little frightened.
But Cosmo didn't seem to mind. And I guess he shouldn't have cared. There were many seriously silly puggies there for me to laugh at.
The Rabbi pug, for example.
The Bride and Groom pug. They placed in a few of the contests, even.
The Boysenberry Pug. How cruel is that?
The Indian Pug Princess, or Pugahontas, as Mommy called her.
A pug in a pod.
A genie pug.
A diva pug.
A faerie pug. That poor child thinks Mommy is taking a picture of her. Isn't that sad?
A royal pug.
And Mommy's favorite, the pug pirate and the shark. It is hard to see in this photo, but it was a pretty amazing costume!!
And where am I in all of the fun? Being held by the photographer. I gotta stay where it is safe, people. Did you see the crazy things these folks were up to. Chances are they were about to make me look like a dog, too.
Oh wait . . .
