Mommy made a new category called Art Gallery for all of my creations.

This morning was a very strange one, even for our family. Mommy picked me up out of bed at 5:30 AM, changed my diaper, loaded a bunch of blankets and my Leo with me, and carted us off to the car.
Daddy was waiting and we drove off to the hospital, where we waited . . . and waited . . . and waited.
I watched an older boy run around and make his parents crazy. That was a lot of fun, I got great pointers for the future.
Finally, the doctor got tired of waiting for us, so he and the male nurse came and got us.
Mommy had to take me out of my jammies and put me in a hosiptal gown and then, I was off to La-la land (which is funny because the Teletubbies were on tv in our room)
Mommy had to take me out of my jammies and put me in a hosiptal gown and then, I was off to La-la land (which is funny because the Teletubbies were on tv in our room) in a little plastic wagon.
Notice how they let me take my Leo.
After I went down the hall, I went nighty-nighty and then woke up in a strange room. They gave me some juice in my sippy cup and then took me to a different room with Mommy and Daddy.
Mommy and I had some snuggle time while Daddy watched tv.
I love to stroke Mommy's face and play with her eyebrows while I drift off to sleep.
I woke up again after my little snooze and we loaded up and left the hospital. We stopped at a drive through for some breakfast, and now I am happily at home and as happy as can be!
I have discovered the joy and challenge of exploration and climbing! One of the things I like to climb is furniture. My highchair is an excellent example.

It is quite the challenge to get up high in my chair to see the world.
But it sure is a lot of fun to try!

Almost . . .

There!

Now what new adventure can I find?

Time to load up on some nutrition!

Ah! Thanks Mom! Okay firetruck, here I come!!

Mommy actually did something non-crazy, in her own crazy way. She invited my friend from school, Abby, to come and play with me.
Although, her invitation rhymed like an insane person, I think she had a good idea!
Mommy made us some orange food, cooked carrots, canatlope, and orange slices, and we headed into the playroom. Daddy got Mommy and Abby's mommy, Lisa, some sandwhiches and soda.
We spent some time clapping and ignoring each other, but every once in a while, we got together.

We also had a good time dripping our juicy snacks all over the freshly mopped playroom and teasing Cosmo. He doesn't have good playdate manners, so he watched us from outside.

We had a good time climbing up on Daddy's treadmill and looking down from our new, taller position. We like to climb. I am so glad that Mommy put Daddy's jogging panties away before our guests came over.

I even got to practice sharing my toys. I was a little concerned about sharing the bird house from my Little Peoples, but Mommy assured me it was okay.

After the Volvo experience, Mommy and Daddy took me to my new favorite place (and Mommy's new version of hell).
I don't think it was the wild kids, noises, flashing lights, and other stuff that made Mommy tense. . . it was the dirty bathrooms and half of the games being broken. but I loved it!
We played with the "Sit on the Horse that Goes Up-and-Down and in Circles" game . . .
the "Step on Flashing Lights to Make the Tickets Come Out" game . . .
the "Insert Coin Sign because it Ate Mommy's Coin" game . . .
the "Hit the Aligators Game" . . .
(Mommy & Daddy got the high score for that one)
and the "Take Lots of Pictures of Mommy Walking in Circles game!
Around!
Around!
Around!
Around!

Mommy & Daddy took me to a very cold, people zoo . . . well, that's what I call it. I think Daddy went there to learn about some Volvo SUV. Evidently, they got an invitation to go to this testing/driving/2 hour live commercial thing
in which there was much silliness, including driving over bumps, through water, and around moose!!
Mommy and I decided to enjoy the yummy food while Daddy walked around and looked at the pieces of the car all around us with mood-lighting.

I think it was supposed to be romantic or something.
Then, Daddy decided to join us while this man presented the features of this car. The funny part, people actually stopped eating to listen!
We followed this with more silly demonstrations outside in the bitter cold. Like, breaking the safety glass . . .
And driving through gravel . . .
Next, was the long wait in line to drive one of these special vehicles.
Did I mention it was cold outside? After about 30 minutes of standing in line, we got to load up and drive the thing.

And play with buttons!
Well, Daddy got to, anyway.
We drove over a slip and slide . . .
And around mountains . . .
And over some bumps! I enjoyed some reading material while my parents played.
Finally, we went home, but not before Mommy got a shot of the Moose Avoidance course. Yes, you heard right!
They had a course where a professional driver would drive straight toward a moose and swerve at the last minute to show the roll-over thingy that keeps the car from flipping. After Daddy's bumpy, swervy, herky-jerky driving and the looks on people's faces after going through this, Mommy decided against it. She said it was because I couldn't go, but I think it was because she was scarred!
Oh, and Daddy took some pictures of other stuff . . .
